We will work, eat and play in three groups: Apple Class, Y6 and Rainbow Group. We will use separate doors and won’t go in the corridors.
Y6 children and Mrs Prudence will have plenty of room, as well as peace and quiet, in Chestnut Classroom, most mornings.
Our Y5 ‘Rainbow Group’ will work in the hall, with Mrs Prudence making guest appearances and Mrs Goacher leading their morning work!
Apple Class children will have their own work stations, but lots of outdoor space to work and play in. There will be plenty of safe resources.
Some children in our ‘Rainbow Group’ will work in this area of the school hall, with all their resources just for them on their desks.
The classrooms have been deep cleaned and painted. Lots of unecessary resources have been stored away.
There are hand cleaning stations ready for when we go outside, break for playtimes and lunch.
The cloakrooms are clean and we have pedal bins, plenty of soap and paper towels so that we can wash our hands frequently and well.
At playtimes, each group will have a separate play area. We will eat lunch together outside, so that we can chat with other groups safely.
Children will have allocated toilet cubicles to use. Each group will stay together during the day and will not mix with other groups.
Lots of gardening. Thank you to Mrs Goacher and all the children who have helped weeding, watering, planting and digging.
Getting ready for outdoor learning and lunches, whatever the weather.
Ms Boxall has been busy getting new outdoor learning areas and resources ready. Can you remember where these shelves used to be?
This is our new bird hide. You can see a family of moorhens and a duck family living on the pond from here.
This is inside the new bird hide. Thank you to Ms Boxall and to Wolf’s daddy & big brother, Simon and Tom, for helping us with the shed base.
The heavy canopies of these beautiful trees have been reduced so that we can set up Apple outdoor area ready for you, with lots of light & shade
Everyone has helped us to be ready for the next phase. Thank you teachers and their families.
Painting fences - thank you to John and the teams of parents who have spent hours doing this time-consuming job.
