The School nestles in the South Downs in a small picturesque village famous for its college and gardens.

West Dean Primary is a school that has educated local children for over a hundred years and been fortunate enough to have the support of the Edward James Foundation.  

In recent years the school has grown enormously, and currently boasts more than 90 pupils.  It also celebrates tremendous success in a variety of areas - academic, music, sport - and any other pursuit which the pupils choose to tackle. 

We are very fortunate to have a great team of staff headed by a very dedicated and hardworking head teacher, Gill Moss, creating a happy and studious environment for the children to achieve excellent results.
